Commenting on the deal, GTE’s equipment sales manager, Ejazul Hassan, said: “The CPLT V15 LED is highly efficient, making it ideal for projects requiring a large number of light towers.Subsequently, the contractor decided to retain the

demonstration unit and order an additional 24 CPLT V15 LED models for use on the oilfield project.“We are pleased to have [GTE] as a partner, because [it is] a strong company in the region and closely [shares] our values and objectives,

” he added.

“With this model, users can save on both fuel and maintenance costs. For instance, the LED’s lifespan is 30,000 hours, compared to 6,000 hours provided by a metal halide bulb. This means the CPLT V15 LED’s bulbs don’t need to be

replaced for approximately three years.”General Transportation & Equipment (GTE), the manufacturer’s authorised distributor in Kuwait, has placed an order for 25 CPLT V15 LED units.

Commenting on the deal, GTE’s equipment sales manager, Ejazul Hassan, said: “The CPLT V15 LED is highly efficient, making it ideal for projects requiring a large number of light towers. The distributor was originally asked to provide

metal halide light towers but, due to the time and cost-sensitive nature of the development, it advised Al-Yousifi to consider the more efficient LED models.
